Malik Shishtawi brings over 20 years of distinguished experience in Events, Marketing, and Business Management across the MENA region and beyond. He holds an MBA from the Swiss Business School and a Bachelor’s degree from BAU in Jordan, complemented by a Diploma from the Swedish Institute. His commitment to continuous learning is further demonstrated by a series of certifications from leading global institutions, including Microsoft, Adobe Systems, Georgetown University, and the American University in Cairo.
Malik’s career includes leadership roles with renowned international groups such as WPP and Omnicom, reflecting his ability to navigate complex, global business environments. Today, he serves as the Founder & CEO of MANGUSTEEN, an award-winning event experience firm with operations across Qatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. Under his leadership, MANGUSTEEN has become a trusted name in delivering world-class, content-driven events and experiential platforms.
A visionary entrepreneur, Malik is the founder behind several pioneering regional initiatives, including the Arab Social Media Forum, the MENA Fintech Festival, and the Arab SportsTech Forum — each contributing meaningfully to industry dialogue and ecosystem development in their respective sectors.
His contributions have earned him international recognition. Most notably, Malik was named among the TOP 50 Virtual Meetings and Events Innovators by the Eventex Global Awards, and listed among the Eventex Top 100 Global Influencers in the Events Industry as well as one of the Top 100 Event Professionals both globally and in the Middle East.
He is also an active member of the world’s three leading event industry associations: ICCA, UFI, and IAEE, cementing his role as a thought leader and global ambassador for event innovation in the region.
